Hello,
Just wanted to pass along my thanks and praise to your staff for providing a professional, caring and excellent service. I required your service throughout this summer and I was more than impressed with Alana and the staff that came to my home and took care of everything possible.
I also had complete access to my belongings at your warehouse, and the friendly staff there couldn’t be more accommodating. As an example, during one visit, a couple gentlemen helped secure kayaks to my truck while Gert (hope that’s the name) and another young lady opened every single box to find a small item that I was missing.
I also work in the service industry and I fully admire and respect the level of commitment and dedication by your employees. I will certainly be recommending you to others.
Please pass along our thanks to your group.

HVAC Division – Marine Duct Cleaning
Jim,
The ventilation cleaning has come to conclusion.
Power Vac-BELFOR, over the past 4 days, has completed the replacement of the filters in all diffusers, steam cleaned the galley exhaust trunk, installed fire-rated access ports in galley trucking. Last, but not least they solved the ongoing issue with the sand/grit. After last trips second duct cleaning and the replacement of the filter arrangement we continued to get fair amount of sand/grit when both blowers were operating. Our friends at Power Vac-BELFOR seem to have found the source of the problem. The diffuser heads which are attached to the ducting had no seals attached. This allowed sand/grit build up in the diffuser deck head unit. When additional air flow was put to the system it would create pressure in the diffuser head and allow the sand/grit to be disturbed and sucked back into the vents. Normally cleaning the ducts would not entail removing all the diffuser heads, but the guys here wanted to find a solution. Once it was found they started last night and finished this morning to remove and clean each diffuser unit.
I have 'CC' the Power Vac-BELFOR on this e-mail to thank them for a great job completed on the Catherine Knutsen. Their crews were very professional and worked independently. They followed Canship and vessel safety systems while on board with no hesitation. The vessel does not have excess accommodations, these man never complained of the accommodations, or the fact that we put to sea or were storm bound when they were expected to get home.
Their recommendations and knowledge of ventilation ducting and air quality due to the condition of the equipment was what was needed on board the Catherine. I do not have the final air quality testing but feel confident that the final results will be good.
I recommend that this type of work be completed on the other vessels in the fleet before they get to the condition of the Catherine.
Best regards,
Barton Ollerhead

On December 29, 2008, I was unfortunate enough to have my basement apartment flooded. My insurance called your company to remove my belongings from the dwelling. I must congratulate you and your staff for their patience and hard work, and making the stressful time for us much easier.
It was a pleasure having them around and watch how well they knew their work. In the future, I would not hesitate to use your company again and spread the word of your professionalism to my friends.
Thank you,
Shirley and Eric Brenton
Power Vac-BELFOR’s first claim with the Total Content Solutions (Pack Out Inventory (POI) system, Esporta, Odell/Fireline and Ultrasonics).
Our home was damaged by heavy smoke and soot from a fan that malfunctioned and melted. Power Vac-BELFOR was the contractor hired by our insurance company to remove and clean all the contents of our house. The contents were taken to their facility where they used the most up-to-date equipment for the cleaning process. Our rec room took the direct hit as it was on the same level where the fan was located. We were certain that our microfibre couch and loveseat would have to be thrown away. Power Vac-BELFOR restored the couch and loveseat to a new condition. Also on this level was most of our electronics, which were all cleaned and returned in perfect condition.
The service and professionalism from the staff at Power Vac-BELFOR were second to none. The inventory list was so well documented and managed it was a cinch to locate important items when we needed them. It was a big job to remove and clean everything from the house. They were very efficient and we were back in our house in little over three weeks. We did not think it would be possible to back in so quickly. They kept us informed the whole time.

Just a little note to express our utmost thanks to you and Alana and her dedicated crew for the caring and professional way in which you all handled our belongings. The ease with which you led us through the process of sorting out the mess from the trailer fire was certainly appreciated by both of us. Your experience in dealing with such unfortunate matters really helped to alleviate our stress and anxiety. We sure were lucky to have been up in the hands of such a capable Team. Again, our sincere thanks.
We hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas and all the best to you in 2009.
